• Sarah Palin backs McCain?

Why would Sarah Palin back a moderate like McCain when he is running against a strong conservative in J.D. Hayworth in the Arizona Senate race?  I don’t know the answer but I’m not happy about it!  I have always been a Palin supporter but never a McCain fan.    He’s to moderate for my liking.    J.D.  Hayworth however is strong on Border control and is backed by sheriff Joe Arpaio, which is good enough for me.

  • Ohio Workers Want President to Focus on Unemployment

President Obama returns to Ohio, to Lorain, a small town he visited a couple of years ago.

He spoke at the National Gypsum plant, a drywall company, promoting an employment package that “must be done in a responsible way, without adding to the already obscene debt that has grown by $4Trillion under George Bush.”

He said he would “pay for every part of this job-creation agenda – by ending this war in Iraq that’s costing us billions, closing tax loopholes for corporations, putting a price on carbon pollution, and ending George Bush’s tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans.”

  • Ants are stronger then the largest of insects!

When we think of ants, we think of small insects that are puny verses other larger insects. What we tend to forget is that although ants are small, they have the distinct ability to work together to overcome obstacles and build roads (paths), bridges, and homes (nests). While our culture puts emphasis on size, such as the Goliath Beetle,

which can be as long as 4.3 inches and weigh as much as 3.5 ounces vs the ants average 7mm length and insignificant weight,  just a quick look down in the forest or backyard will show any sized insect being dragged around by a few small ants.  Although looking at an ant would never lead you to believe this is possible, a few ants make the impossible possible!

Now, lets imagine ourselves as ants for a moment…

  • Educating our kids about goverment

My name is Brad. Darren Bryant is a good friend of mine.  I want to commend him for taking the time to build this site.  He has asked me several times to write an article.  I didn’t know where to start but after thinking about it I decided to just give my take on where we are as a country.

The biggest problem that I see in America is the education level of natural born citizens when it comes to the government.  Most people can not answer simple questions about how the government operates.  I could not have answered them myself 10 years ago and I’m 45.

Recently, Congress voted down a bi-partisan bill that would have ensured that the terrorists who brought death and destruction to our homeland on September 11, 2001 would be tried as war criminals in military courts, not as common criminals tried in civilian courts with full Constitutional protections on American soil.  The Obama administration has not been truthful with the public about the risks associated with bringing these cases in federal court, where critical evidence will be excluded, classified intelligence will be made available to our enemies, foreign counter-terrorism partners will be exposed and the “mastermind of 9/11″ will be allowed to mock his victims just blocks from where they died.
